At Sharon Academy, each child is a true individual—our teachers work to engage children with a focus on their interests and developmental goals. Our curricula focus on developing the whole child with an emphasis on learning through play. We pride ourselves on our teachers’ unique ability to hone in on our children’s interests and gear lesson themes toward motivating topics. Our teachers skillfully combine the mastery objectives through NC Foundations with our other curricula to create impactful and engaging lessons. Our Curriculum Specialist works to assist teachers with lesson planning and enrichment for our children. Our Curriculum Specialist is constantly evaluating our curriculum for effectiveness, providing support to teachers and children, and ensuring alignment across our two campuses.
